Dental veneers are very thin porcelain, ceramic or composite (natural-looking) laminates that are bonded to the front surface of your existing teeth, instantly improving the cosmetic appearance of your smile. They are often used for smile makeovers because of their versatility and are frequently seen in TV makeover programmes.
The procedure involves preparing your teeth by shaping them and taking a very thin layer (1mm or less) from the front surface of your teeth to make room for the dental veneer.
We then take an impression or mould of the area, which is sent to our dental laboratory. A skilled craftsman custom makes each dental veneer, so that the veneer fits perfectly and looks great.
Once ready - usually within about two weeks - the dental veneers are bonded into place, giving you a beautiful, natural-looking smile.
