Denture stability with mini implants

Peterborough Dentists are now offering a great new service to help denture wearers.  Their mini implants hold dentures firmly in place, and let you indulge in your favourite foods once again!

The mini implants are being offered at our Bushfield practice by Dr Chris Hoffmann (B.Ch.D 1980), who has years of experience in this treatment. 

They consist of a tiny titanium post which is gently inserted into your jawbone, and acts like a tooth root.  We modify your dentures to incorporate fixtures at the bottom, so all you have to do is click your dentures into place.

The procedure is usually completed within a couple of hours, and local anaesthetic ensures the treatment is virtually pain-free.  

You can start to reap the benefits of your mini-implants straight away.  You'll be able to laugh, speak and smile with confidence, knowing your dentures are firmly held in place, and you will even be able to eat chewy foods such as steak and crusty bread again!
